The Marketing Meetings 2025 event, organized by the Department of Marketing and Advertising at Balıkesir Vocational School to bring together students and industry representatives, was held successfully.

The event took place on March 5, 2025, in Room C201 of Balıkesir Vocational School, featuring Lecturer Reha Tartıcı, who teaches at Bahçeşehir University and Medipol University, as a guest speaker.

In the seminar titled “Customer Data is a Blessing”, Reha Tartıcı, who has extensive private sector experience in marketing, media, and communication, shared his insights with students on the transformation of marketing, the process of digitalization, and its potential future structure. Tartıcı focused on the concept of value within the context of marketing in a digitalizing world, discussing topics such as the current state of marketing, new marketing approaches, the digital economy, changing customer profiles, and the importance of data.

The second event of the Marketing Meetings 2024 series, aimed at bringing together students of the Marketing and Advertising Program at Balıkesir Vocational School and industry representatives, was held on November 18, 2024, at Balıkesir Vocational School.

The event featured Mr. Ahmet Kerem Köseoğlu, Head of the Marketing and Communication Department at BEST Transformer, one of the leading companies in Balıkesir and Turkey. During the event, he discussed industry developments, market dynamics, expected future trends, and the qualities sought in a good workplace employee.

The session concluded with questions from Balıkesir Vocational School Marketing and Advertising students regarding the industry and professional practices, and participants also shared their insights on current trends.

The Marketing Meetings event organized by the Department of Marketing and Advertising was held on March 27, 2024, in Room C201 at our school.

The event featured our esteemed retired faculty members, who have contributed many years of service and teaching to our department: former Head of the Marketing and Advertising Department, Mr. Ender Yönet, and former Vice Director of the Vocational School, Ms. Nuray Yönet. They shared their insights about the department, recounted past experiences, and offered their perspectives on the current marketing profession with our students.

During the event, activities from the “Effective Speaking and Presentation Techniques” course taken in the Fall Semester were applied. As part of this application, our valued students performed poetry readings for their guests.
