University and Business Sector Converge: Collaborative Networking at MÜSİAD Iftar
Balıkesir University students and faculty members came together with representatives of the business world during an iftar (fast-breaking) dinner hosted by MÜSİAD Balıkesir. The program was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Fulya Güngör, representing the department; Mücahit Gümüştekin from Hititpak Ambalaj Sanayi, representing the industry; and a student delegation including Sıla Yılmaz, Emir Ergüven, Hira Kanak, Mustafa Caner Top, Sudenur Bayraktar, and Yiğit Olgun Demir.
The event, which took place within the spiritual atmosphere of the month of Ramadan, served as an occasion for participants to emphasize themes of unity, solidarity, and mutual support. By sharing the same table, students, academics, and business leaders enjoyed the opportunity to discuss sectoral experiences and exchange perspectives in a cordial setting.
During the event, the significance of university-industry collaboration was reaffirmed, and engaging conversations were held regarding students' career planning, internship opportunities, and future employment prospects. The program effectively laid the groundwork for evaluating new collaborative opportunities that will contribute to the professional development of the youth.
