Social Transcript Information Session Held
An
information session titled “The Social Transcript Application and Its
Importance” was held for the students of Balıkesir University’s Marketing and
Advertising Program.
During the
session, it was emphasized that in today’s world, not only academic success but
also students’ social skills and contributions to society hold great
importance. Within the scope of the Balıkesir University Social Transcript
Directive, students were informed about how their social, cultural, artistic,
sports, scientific, and volunteering activities can be officially documented
through the social transcript system.
The
session also highlighted how the social transcript contributes to students’
personal development, career planning, and post-graduation job applications. In
addition, technical details regarding the application, approval, and
documentation processes were shared, and students’ questions were answered.
The event,
which was held with the active participation of Marketing and Advertising
Program students, aimed to strengthen students’ sense of social responsibility
and encourage a more holistic perspective on university life.
