Prospective Students Get a Closer Look at the Marketing and Advertising Department
On May 11, 2026, 12th-grade students from Sındırgı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School visited Balıkesir Vocational School to gain firsthand insight into higher education programs relevant to their field. During the visit, the students explored the educational environment, practical training facilities, and department resources, gaining significant perspectives for their professional futures. The visit featured comprehensive briefings on the vocational school’s academic structure, applied training opportunities, and career prospects.
Promotion activities within the Marketing Program at Balıkesir Vocational School were led by Department Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Can Tokmak, Deputy Department Head Lecturer Nevin Polat, and department representative Sıla Yılmaz, with active contributions from Sude Nur Bayraktar, Emir Ergüven, and other second-year students.
Throughout the orientation, prospective students received detailed information about the history of Balıkesir Vocational School and the Marketing and Advertising Department, the curriculum, applied training processes, post-graduation job and career opportunities, and current industry dynamics. Furthermore, the program’s educational process was presented from the perspectives of both faculty and current students, providing high schoolers with a direct account of university life.
During the Q&A session, students had the opportunity to ask questions about topics of interest, gaining valuable insights for their university selection process and career planning. The faculty and students of the Balıkesir Vocational School Marketing Program extended their best wishes to all students preparing for their upcoming exams.
