Marketing and Advertising Students Informed About the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS)
An
information session was held in the Department of Marketing and Advertising,
where Asst. Prof. Mehmet Can Tokmak delivered a comprehensive presentation
on the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). The event was organized to help students
gain a clearer understanding of the exam process.
During
the session, general information about the DGS was shared, including exam
requirements, score calculation methods, the effect of associate degree success
scores on final results, and undergraduate programs determined by ÖSYM that
students can transfer into.
In
addition, the session focused on the departments that Marketing and Advertising
students can transfer to after the DGS, career opportunities, and the potential
contributions of the undergraduate completion process to professional
development. Students were also guided through the 2025 ÖSYM guide, which
includes the highest and lowest scores from the previous year.
The
event aimed to increase students’ awareness of the undergraduate transfer
process and support them in making more informed career plans.
