Marketing and Advertising Department Faculty Participate in First Aid Training
As part of our university’s ongoing in-service training initiatives, faculty members from the Marketing and Advertising Department participated in a comprehensive First Aid and Basic Life Support training program.
The training, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Eylem Ersan from the Faculty of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine, was conducted in two separate groups on April 20 and April 28, 2026, at the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center’s Dumlupınar Hall. The program emphasized the critical importance of providing accurate and rapid intervention during sudden health issues and accidents that may occur in the workplace or daily life.
The sessions covered fundamental first aid techniques, scene safety, consciousness assessment, and the essential steps to be taken during emergencies. Participants received detailed instruction on Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR (chest compressions and rescue breathing), which are vital in cases of cardiac or respiratory arrest. Through hands-on demonstrations, the training significantly enhanced the staff's readiness and awareness in responding to emergency situations.
