Marketing and Advertising Department Concludes the Term with Social and Sporting Events
The Marketing and Advertising Department at Balıkesir University’s Balıkesir Vocational School concluded the 2025-2026 academic year spring term with a series of picnic and volleyball events designed to strengthen social interaction among students.
On June 10, 2026, a picnic was held on the campus lawns, bringing together 1st and 2nd-year students, faculty members, and department alumni İlke Yaman and Müge Alemdar. In this relaxed setting, students had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with our alumni and unwind after a busy academic term.
Following this, on June 11, 2026, the department hosted its "Traditional 1st Volleyball Match," organized by our 2nd-year students. The event, which also featured the participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Fulya Güngör, was played in an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie. Beyond the friendly competition, the match allowed students to embrace teamwork, solidarity, and the joy of spending time together. Students in the stands cheering for their friends added further energy to the event.
These year-end activities served as meaningful gatherings that not only allowed faculty and students to create lasting memories but also highlighted the department's strong culture of communication and mutual support.
