Future Marketers on Stage: Final Presentations Concluded
Students from the Marketing and Advertising Department at Balıkesir University’s Balıkesir Vocational School successfully delivered their final presentations for the "Effective Speaking and Presentation Techniques" course on January 7, 2026, at the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center, Dumlupınar Hall.
The event, which ran from 14:00 to 17:00, enabled students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice, showcasing their oratorical skills, stage presence, and presentation delivery. The interactive format encouraged active participation from the audience through various Q&A sessions.
The presentations explored socially significant topics, including violence, psychology, human relations, addictions, and the healing power of art. The content prepared by the students captured the audience's attention throughout the afternoon.
Department Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Can Tokmak and Lecturer Fatma Girgin were in attendance. In her opening remarks, the course instructor, Lecturer Nevin Polat, highlighted that these final presentations contribute significantly to the professional and personal development of the students, noting that this practice has become a cherished tradition each semester.
