The Marketing Program at Balıkesir University’s Balıkesir Vocational School continues to broaden its double major collaborative opportunities to support the academic and professional development of its students. In this context, a Double Major Program (ÇAP) agreement has been established between the Marketing Program and the Tourism and Hotel Management Program under the Department of Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering Services.

Under this agreement, starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, students from both programs will be eligible to pursue a double major, provided they meet the requirements and obligations outlined in the "Balıkesir University Double Major Procedures and Principles." The agreement allocates two spots for students from each program to enroll in the other.

This collaboration is designed to enable students to acquire knowledge and competencies in both marketing and tourism, fostering a multidisciplinary education that increases career opportunities across diverse sectors.

Additionally, the Marketing Program continues its existing double major agreement with the Office Management and Executive Assistantship Program, which was established last year. Through these partnerships, students are granted the opportunity to earn a second diploma in a different field, thereby benefiting from greater academic diversity.
