Orientation Training for New Students in Marketing Program

An orientation training session was held for students who enrolled in the Marketing Program of the Department of Marketing and Advertising at Balıkesir University Balıkesir Vocational School for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The training was delivered by the Head of the Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Can Tokmak, with the participation of department faculty members Assist. Prof. Dr. Fulya Güngör and Lecturer Nevin Polat.

During the session, students were informed about the history and institutional structure of Balıkesir University, as well as the academic departments and educational facilities of Balıkesir Vocational School. The program also covered the academic calendar, course registration and renewal procedures, course plans, examination and assessment processes, and the relevant university regulations and directives. In addition, students were introduced to the library, sports facilities, and other campus amenities to support their adaptation to university life. Information on addiction prevention and awareness was also provided.

The orientation session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, during which students' questions about university and vocational school life were addressed, followed by an exchange of views.
